Parttracker's webshop takes product details from a large wholesale file: prices, barcodes, descriptions in three languages, weight and dimensions. Those details used to be copied over by hand.
Stockmatcher works in four steps. You upload the webshop's product list and the wholesale file, choose which details to take over, review the proposed changes and download the completed file. That goes straight back into the webshop.
The tool matches products on the manufacturer's article number, even when it's written slightly differently. You can choose to fill only empty fields, so nothing is ever overwritten. Everything runs on your own computer, so the files don't go anywhere.
